It is screening as a part of Exits & Entrances Shorts program along with eight other films: A powerful collection of dramatic shorts centered around themes of coming and going, leaving and staying, exits and entrances. As future looms, pairs of characters navigate unexpected circumstances, new relationships, or potent memories.

Emilija's short film THE WAIT will be screening at the 15th edition of the South East European Film Festival - SEEfest. South East European Film Festival Los Angeles is a competition festival presenting cinematic and cultural diversity of 18 countries of the Balkans and Caucasus to American audiences. It provides a platform in the U.S. for the discovery of new talent from South East Europe, with a wide selection of films, art and literary talks, workshops and panels.

THE WAIT going to Maryland Film Festival

Emilija's short film is going to Maryland Film Festival in Baltimore. Festival will be taking place virtually in June due to COVID-19. The Maryland Film Festival has been named one of MovieMaker Magazine's "25 Coolest Film Festivals In the World" four times in recent years (2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019), as well as earning repeated praise from national publications such as The New Yorker, and ArtForum.

Official Selection at CIF+AF 68 for THE WAIT

Great news! THE WAIT is going to Columbus, Ohio for the 68th edition of the acclaimed Columbus International Film & Animation Festival! Due to the corona virus crisis the festival will be held at a different date and possibly online. More information on the 2020 edition of CIF+AF coming up!

The short film FIRST TIME (directed by Shu Gao) shot by Emilija Gasic is officially selected to screen at Austin Comedy Short Film Festival. This is a bi-annual event on the Film Festival Circuit for comedy filmmakers and screenwriters from all over the world to showcase their creative works in Texas. This event was founded by author and retired filmmaker Mikel Fair who worked on location in the Film and Television industry from 1999-2015.
